Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to all cleaning services provided by Squeaky clean co. By booking or using our services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

1. Services

We provide residential and/or commercial cleaning services as agreed at the time of booking. The scope of work will be based on the quote, booking confirmation, or service agreement.

Any additional services requested outside the agreed scope may incur extra charges.

2. Quotes and Pricing

  • All quotes are based on the information provided by the client.

  • Prices may change if the actual condition, size, or requirements of the property differ from what was disclosed.

  • Quotes are valid for [e.g. 7 / 14 / 30] days unless stated otherwise.

3. Bookings and Cancellations

  • Bookings must be made in advance and are subject to availability.

  • Cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least [e.g. 24 / 48] hours before the scheduled service.

  • Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a cancellation fee of $25.

4. Access to Property

  • The client must provide safe and reasonable access to the property at the agreed time.

  • If access cannot be gained, the service may be cancelled and a call-out fee may apply.

  • We are not responsible for alarms being triggered or delays caused by access issues.

5. Payment Terms

  • Payment is due [before / on completion of / within X days of] the service.

  • We accept [cash / bank transfer / card / invoice].

  • Late payments may incur additional fees or suspension of future services.

6. Client Responsibilities

The client agrees to:

  • Provide accurate information about the property and cleaning requirements

  • Ensure the property is safe for cleaners to enter and work in

  • Secure pets and remove hazardous items

  • Inform us of fragile, valuable, or delicate items

7. Quality of Service

  • We aim to provide high-quality professional cleaning services.

  • If you are not satisfied, you must notify us within [e.g. 24 / 48] hours of the service so we can address the issue.

  • We do not offer refunds for change of mind or issues reported outside this timeframe.

8. Damage and Liability

  • We take reasonable care while providing our services.

  • We are not responsible for:

    • Pre-existing damage

    • Normal wear and tear

    • Damage caused by faulty or unstable items

  • Our liability is limited to the cost of the cleaning service provided, to the extent permitted by Australian law.

9. Health and Safety

We reserve the right to refuse or stop services if conditions are unsafe, unsanitary, or pose a risk to our staff, without refund.

10. Insurance

We maintain appropriate insurance as required by law. Proof of insurance can be provided upon request.

11. Privacy

We collect and handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

12. Termination of Services

We may suspend or terminate services if:

  • Payments are overdue

  • These Terms and Conditions are breached

  • Unsafe or inappropriate conditions exist

13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Australia and the state or territory in which the services are provided.
