Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to all cleaning services provided by Squeaky Clean co.

We comply with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), which provides consumers with guarantees that services will be supplied with due care and skill and be fit for purpose.

1. No Change-of-Mind Refunds

We do not offer refunds for change of mind once a cleaning service has been completed.

2. Our Service Guarantee

If you are not satisfied with our cleaning service, you must notify us within [24 / 48] hours of the service being completed.

We may, at our discretion:

  • Re-clean the affected area(s), or

  • Offer a partial refund or service credit

This is subject to the issue being directly related to the cleaning service provided.

3. When Refunds or Re-cleans Are Not Available

Refunds or re-cleans will not be provided for:

  • Issues reported after the stated notification period

  • Areas not included in the agreed scope of work

  • Pre-existing damage, stains, or wear and tear

  • Permanent stains or damage that cannot be removed by standard cleaning

  • Access issues or interruptions outside our control

  • Dissatisfaction based on personal preference where the service was reasonably performed

4. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Cancellations made with sufficient notice (as per our Terms and Conditions) may be eligible for a refund or reschedule.

  • Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a cancellation fee and are generally non-refundable.

5. Australian Consumer Law Rights

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to a remedy if our services:

  • Are not provided with due care and skill

  • Are not fit for the purpose agreed

  • Do not match the description provided

Where a major failure occurs, you may be entitled to a refund or other remedy as required by law.

6. How to Request a Refund

To request a re-clean or refund, please contact us with:

  • Your name

  • Service date

  • Description of the issue

  • Photos (if applicable)

7. Policy Updates

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available upon request or on our website.
